Ordering Process
We promise to fill every order with a smile, and to your highest level of satisfaction. To help expedite an order, please read on how the ordering process works.
We will ask these questions when you order sod:
- What type of turfgrass do you want?
- How many square feet do you need?
- Pick-up or delivery?
- Date and time?
- Are you needing any other items: Seed, Fertilizer, Sod Pins etc?
Pick-Up
Advanced notice on an order is needed
Call ahead with an order. We cut your order fresh!
Sometimes we can get it quicker but we like to have 4 hours notice for a fescue order while zoysia orders require a full day's notice.
Tips for picking-up:
- Check out the weight and dimensions of our sod units to make sure your truck or trailer will be able to haul your order.
- Trailers that have open ends or no railings/sides are best for loading with our forklifts.
- When you get to our farm, you will need to come to the office to complete paperwork or payments.
- From there, you will be directed to the field where you will pick up. The office will give you a pick-up ticket that you will need to give to the workers in the field. Someone in the field will load your sod with a forklift.
It is also very important to make sure to secure your load. Once you are loaded with sod on your truck or trailer, you are responsible for any damage done to others by sod that might fall off while in transport.
Delivery
Delivered fresh!
Call ahead with an order. Delivery is first come first serve. Most times we can turn an order around in 1-2 days but sometimes we can even deliver the same day.
We will ship your sod direct from our fields to your jobsite. Our delivery drivers will place the pallets with a forklift for your convenience.
Delivery minimum to all areas is 10 pallets, unless you are in the Jefferson City or Columbia area then the minimum is 5 pallets.
If you need less than the minimum, we will deliver as little as 1 pallet if we have a truck in the area. Typically, all it takes is a little logistics on our end.
