Jim Keeven

Jim Keeven has been the driving force behind SelecTurf.  Like his parents, Ed & Vivienne Keeven, Jim has been an innovative contributor to the turfgrass industry.  He currently serves as the incoming president of Turf Producers International.  

Kathy Keeven

Clint Keeven

Clint has studied Commercial Turf at Linn State Technical College and interned for 8 months in Salt Lake at Bio Grass Sod Farm. Clint is skilled in many jobs on the farm and works to lead the team to provide the best service and highest quality to our customers.

Kelsey Sandbothe

Kelsey joined the turf team full time in the spring of 2013. She brings business degree from MU. Responsibilities range from managing the office, sales, marketing, business development and other jobs that keep workflow running smoothly.

Kevin Burnett

For over 21 years, Kevin has led the harvesting team with the expertise in multiple harvesting techniques to ensure the quality of turf our customers have come to expect.  He's excelled at our automatic sod harvester and its complicated processes to maintain the machine.

David Hoehne

Dave brings to the farm a Bachelors degree in Agricultural Systems Management from the University of Missouri Columbia. As the foreman/production manager for over 20 years, he ensures that only the finest turf leaves the farm.

Chad Bish

For over 13 years, Chad has proven he’s an all around great employee. He provides mowing and maintenance on the farm and has proven to be very adaptive to new technology like GPS guidance for tractors.

Mark Hinkle

Since 2018, Mark has combined his professional driving experience with a can-do attitude, making every delivery smooth, efficient, and friendly. We’re lucky to have him on the team!

Troy Michell

Troy will be your friendly face in the field, ready to help load your order. We’re excited to support his growth in this role at the farm.

Jake Tanner

Meet Jake, new to the farm in 2022! Jake is a skilled semi driver who delivers your sod safely and on time.

Ricky Mueller

Ricky is our hardworking production assistant who’s learning the ropes behind the scenes—and working toward his CDL to help deliver your sod soon!
